Who we are and what this covers

I MAKE WAY is operated by Ready Future Lead LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy covers imakeway.com, app.imakeway.com, and the I MAKE WAY mobile apps. Contact hello@imakeway.com for privacy questions and requests. It covers our service, not independent websites you choose to visit.

Information you provide

We process your email address, account ID, authentication information, and profile details you choose to provide, including your name, photo, sport, team, and biography. Your practice data may include people’s names or nicknames, Pray/Listen/Notice/Act check-ins, dates, progress, intentions, and private notes. Reading data may include highlights, notes, bookmarks, and progress. Notes and participation can reveal religious beliefs or other sensitive information. Avoid entering unnecessary health, financial, or other sensitive details about yourself or someone else. We do not request access to your device address book.

Shared content and media

We process videos, audio, captions, Crew messages, Live participation and comments, reactions, saved stories, moderation reports, and visibility choices you submit. Your private practice and reading notes are not automatically posted. Material you deliberately share and profile details you choose to display are available to the relevant signed-in participants. Other people may capture or retain copies. Camera, microphone, and photo access are used for media features you initiate; permissions can be changed in device settings.

Technical data and local storage

Our service and infrastructure providers process IP addresses, browser or device information, request timestamps, authentication events, and operational or security logs. We use browser or device storage to maintain sign-in, preferences, drafts, and practice data. The separate website practice preview may store an intention and contact details only in your browser; this does not create an app account or enroll you in marketing. Clearing website data removes those local copies. Device/browser storage is separate from server account deletion. We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers in the app. The thumbprint pledge is a symbolic press-and-hold interaction: no fingerprint or biometric template is captured, and it is not biometric identity verification.

Why we use information

We use information to create and authenticate accounts; provide and sync practice, reading, profile, video, and community features; honor visibility settings; maintain service reliability; investigate abuse and reports; respond to support; process data requests; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use private religious notes to target advertising or to make employment, insurance, or other eligibility decisions. Service email is used for authentication, security, and requested support; marketing would require a separate choice where required.

Who receives information

Supabase supplies authentication and database services; Vercel hosts the app and API; Cloudflare supplies video and Live infrastructure; and OpenAI GPT Sites hosts the public website. These providers process information needed to operate their services. Authorized personnel may access information for support, security, moderation, and administration. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect users or rights, with your direction, or in a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not authorize third parties to track your activity across unrelated services for advertising through our app.

Retention and deletion

Account and practice information is kept while needed to provide your account, unless you delete it sooner. Shared content remains until removed, your account is deleted, or a lawful retention reason applies. Account deletion removes active account records and associated account content; hosted video removal is queued for provider cleanup and may not be instantaneous. Backups, service logs, safety reports, and legal records may remain for the periods needed for recovery, security, claims, or legal duties and are not used to restore a deleted account to ordinary service. Retention depends on data purpose, sensitivity, provider settings, and legal obligations. Copies saved by other participants or on your other devices are outside our direct control.

Your controls and privacy requests

Use Profile and Settings to edit your profile, control Crew visibility, export account data, or delete your account. You can also email hello@imakeway.com to request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or withdrawal of an optional permission. Where applicable law provides additional rights, including restricting sensitive-data use, objecting to processing, or appealing a denied request, you may exercise them through the same address. Put "Privacy request" or "Privacy appeal" in the subject. We verify requests proportionately, respond within applicable legal deadlines, explain a denial where required, and do not discriminate for exercising rights. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority. We do not ask for passwords or authentication codes by email. We do not sell or share data for advertising, so an advertising opt-out signal does not change those practices; we do not otherwise change essential service processing in response to a browser Do Not Track signal.

Young people

The app is intended for people age 14 and older. Users under 18 should use it with parent or guardian permission. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their account information. If you believe a child below the minimum age has provided information, contact hello@imakeway.com so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate. Parents and guardians can contact us about a teen’s privacy or safety. Do not post a child’s private details. An age statement does not mean that identity or parental permission has been independently verified.

Security, location, and changes

We use authenticated access and HTTPS for the hosted app, but no system is completely secure. Private notes are not end-to-end encrypted, and operational access may be necessary. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our providers, with protections required by applicable law. We will post policy changes here with a new effective date and provide additional notice or seek consent where required before materially different use. Contact hello@imakeway.com with questions.
